I am guilty of being very experienced but not visiting and posting often so that said, I promise to visit 2-3 X per week. Let's start off positively

COMMAND YOUR PRESENCE. We don't need to work for 300 companies BUT we need to have a lot of eggs in our basket. THANK GOD I'm still busy but that's because I signed up with a ga-gillion companies so if my #1 or #2 or #3 isnt calling me, my #127 is. NEVER STOP SIGNING Up!

DO NOT BECOME A LEGEND IN YOUR OWN MIND. Never forget where you came from no matter how good you are. We all started in the same place

NEGOTIATE YOUR FEES. If so and so says,"What's your fee?", reply, "What's the MOST you're authorized to pay me?". THEN, you have a price IN MIND and start the negotiation. If you immediately say, "$95" and they can pay you more, who's the dummy? Yes YOU Imagine "them" laughing at you, "falling" for their speak..

IF the company thinks you should take less for, "it's just one or two or a couple documents", think twice. What's the GAS and TIME to go from point A to point B? yup, the same -- it doesn't matter if it's a VA/FHA or a couple of docs.. the mileage and gas and distance and time to get there IS THE SAME.. think about it. AND, it's NEVER just one or two docs, trust me.

"WE I HAVE TONS OF WORK IN YOUR AREA AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Go-TO Gal or Guy THAT WILL "WORK WITH US". SrslY? That means, "we will pay you poop because we are promising you volume but we are liars so be a dummy and go for it". Need I say more?

The worst someone can say is "no". So what? Learn, move on and stick with your business model.

Oh, you don't have a business model? GET ONE.

love kelly

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
