The signing companies are proposing fees which are extremely low. With the low fees it becomes difficult to keep up with the cost to remain in business. |

"has now taken 2 days. During this time, they keep telling me the docs are coming, then the signing gets pushed back or rescheduled. I've missed two appointments and haven't even been able to get to the post office or bank which I NEED to do"
Take control!! You are letting THEM control your business and not doing it yourself. Think how much you've let this one appointment has cost you - two other appointments and TWO DAYS.
YOU are in control of YOUR business...nobody else is. When those other two potential appointments called and wanted you to work, you should have taken them - then when Mr. $25 appointment says they're ready, well then they go to the back of the line.
YOUR business...YOUR control.

I've missed two appointments and haven't even been able to get to the post office or bank which I NEED to do! I've been in the mortgage business for 10+ years, but am a new signing agent so I took the client because I am trying to build business and want to get my name out there. However, situations like this seem to be the norm. Is there a way to avoid this type of situation? I dont mind scheduling around my business appointments, but nobody keeps their appointments?! Could use a little advice.
First, a $25 mobile notary is WAY below what you should be charging, even if the job is across the street.
Second, at the FIRST delay, tell them to PayPal your fee, in the next half hour or find someone else.
If you don't learn to manage your time your new enterprise will fail.

If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
