Last Minute? How about half an hour after the package was given to FedEx - "but we need just one more signature".....
My standard reply "Send the document with a new work order for half the prior fee, as most of what you pay me for is time and travel".
Their standard answer "O, you need not bother, we will just fax it to the borrower; the HUD update does not need to be notarized".

I've had last minute HUDs sent prior to signing, via email. But never have they changed in mid stream on me. Odd practic.
I don't know what goes into creating a HUD, but it seems it must be a monumental task to get it together.
Last dox are usually a result of some poor person slaving over numbers to get them to line up.
Prompt, secure professional signings.

How about after you start the signing, get a call that a new HUD has been released? Was at bank, they emailed it to bank and bank employee printed it out for me. |

In the old days HUD-1 documents were often faxed at the last minute to notaries. What a pain. Can't these people get organized and have everything ready well BEFORE the signing?
But, these days I was told that HUDs are not being fax much if at all.
How often (if ever) do you get a HUD faxed, emailed, or sent to you at the last minute?
