Welcome to the forum! One of the ways to get the most complete answer possible to this and other questions is to use the search engine on this and other notary sites. For this question, you could simply insert the word “mentor” into the search engine on this site and you will find many “threads” of conversation dealing with this topic. After you digest enough of the information to ask question, then you could post those questions in the same thread they are asked in. If you do it that way, folks that may be able to assist you will know that you are serious about wanting to learn and grow in this field rather than simply asking folks to copy and paste the same thing over and over Good luck to you in this endeavor |

Shannon,
If you're looking for an excellent training guide and reference manual, I suggest the Signing Agent Professional Training Guide, written by Kathy Poston (founder of the Signing Registry) and available on the National Signing Agent Registry website (http://www.SigningRegistry.com). It's full of information on how to perform a signing, with sample documents and explanations, as well as how to run a signing agent business. IMO, it's the best book on the market for our community.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but I live in So Cal (Riverside County area) and I am looking for someone to take me through the signing process. I took the signing class, but almost everyone was familiar with the loan paperwork. I guess I'm looking for someone to intern with before I go out and do any signing. Does anyone know of anyone who would do this or if it is done? Thank you!

If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries.
