Wouldn't this conversation be better served under abusive and aggressive postings?

What I have decided about forum(s) in general is that people really want to vent their opinions and read other people's opinions. Sticking to the point or maintaining organization is important to some of us. However, others just want to have a meandering group discussion which is also fine. I find it interesting that one post of one topic becomes completely unrelated by the time it gets to have more than three replies. But its okay to meander, diverge or digress if everybody is enjoying their reading and posting. My only request is that posts about particular signing companies remain pointed at discussing those particular signing companies.
I hope everyone's listing on the site is great. If anyone wants free tips on how to optimize the effectiveness of their listing, I am available by email to help out. |

To quote Jeremy Belmont:
"these people are just having a complaining and arguing session and they have a right to vent their opinions so long as they don't slander anyone too much or use bad language which they didn't."
As irritating as this thread may be it would seem better served under "Open Forum For Venting." Much of what is being said has nothing to do with getting a very nice call.

Your ranting post confirms two things:
1. You are anal retentive. You belong to a group of unprofessional SA's that are unable to tell the difference between slang, abbreviation, fact or fiction.
2. You clearly can't keep your big nose out of other folks business. I started this thread. You could have easily posted to any other thread on dozens of other forums. But, you chose this one. The serious professional's, of which you and your elk are not; find you petty and are trying to distance themselves from your type. Please discontinue posting to any thread written by me, or the countless other SA's who have already advised you that they don't like you.
For all the amount of time you spend bashing people on these SA forums; your time could have been better spent doing charity work or contributing something positive to your community. |

Here is my final comment on this issue... "The reference to GoMobil is typed that way as an abbreviation to the name of that particular site as it's a competitior of 123Notary. On ALL forum's, it is customary to not use the full name of the competitor you're mentioning." - an abbreviation for "GoMobil" as you call it would be GMN. An "abbreviation" is not the whole name of a company/website except one letter. Admit your mistakes! Then again, if you did that, you would be admitting to things for a LONG time.
"As to Kyle, case in point, it's the misinformed and unprofessional elements in our profession that make all of us look bad." Well, FlaMac, do you think you looked professional or represented us well when you said "You are clearly a mentally and/or emotionally challenged person based on your postings..here and elsewhere"? I don't even know Linda and even she thinks you're a joke. Take a LONG look in the mirror!
Finally..."Please, Go elsewhere and leave those of us that are serious about our profession alone." - Why don't you practice what you preach? FlaMac, I have more sanity, common sense AND intelligence than you will wish to ever have.
Get a clue and go back to school for some grammar lessons. Clearly, those that hire you must rue their decision. That is all I have to say to you.

You are absolutely right - we've never met NOR will we ever...the rest of your drivel isn't worth addressing, except one thing..
"Please, Go elsewhere and leave those of us that are serious about our profession alone."
Go elsewhere? Under whose authority...yours? I think not -
And I for one AM serious about my CAREER...
That being said..I'm done with this whole issue.

First of all, Linda, we have never met not will we ever. Your type of unprofessional person is what's truly wrong with our industry. Your post here and elsewhere are all the proof anyone needs.
FYI, you shouldn't use the full name of any competitor when posting on a forum. It's simply bad etiquette; not that you understand what that term means but every normal person does.
As for your post, why do you even post to anything I write? Please, Go elsewhere and leave those of us that are serious about our profession alone. |

Fran - are you kidding? Face it - the reference to GoMobil wasn't an abbreviation!!...it was a mistake - plain and simple...
If you want to stick to that line of thinking, then please tell me - what is "overdo" an abbreviation for? - nothing..another mistake - the word is "overdue".
"...it's the misinformed and unprofessional elements in our profession that make all of us look bad."
I sure hope that attorney that contacted you reads this forum...
"You are clearly a mentally and/or emotionally challenged person.." - that comment was way out of line and uncalled for - but as in your other posts (here and elsewhere) that's your norm - since when are you qualified to establish anyone's mental or emotional status? You're not - but when you're caught you resort to insults.
Fran, you're starting to act on this board in the exact manner that got you tossed off the other one - and I hope Jeremy nips this in the bud before it gets way out of hand.
You are one of the most unprofessional people I've ever met.

Kyle:
You are clearly a mentally and/or emotionally challenged person based on your postings..here and elsewhere. The reference to GoMobil is typed that way as an abbreviation to the name of that particular site as it's a competitior of 123Notary. On ALL forum's, it is customary to not use the full name of the competitor you're mentioning. DUH, DUDE:) |

"...it's the misinformed and unprofessional elements in our profession that make all of us look bad."
What makes us look bad is when you think mobil is someone on the go when in fact its a gas company. Most notaries are mobile. That isn't bashing, that's just the facts...something you do not present when you post. Again, that is my opinion (which happens to be shared by MANY people). Have a nice evening.

Thanks, GentleBreeze..I sent Jeremy an email. It's the date on my receipt so not sure what generated the error on my profile.
As to Kyle, case in point, it's the misinformed and unprofessional elements in our profession that make all of us look bad. Wouldn't it be great if all the basher's were forced to go get day jobs...it would make our entire profession shine:) |

"I've been a member of the only other leading site, GoMobil, since December, 2005."
Mobil: an industry leader in the energy and petrochemical business now called ExxonMobil.
Mobile: capable of moving or being moved; marked by the use of vehicles for transportation
Learn the difference. While you're at it, call 800-222-3334 (800-ABC-DEFG).
"As for my posting, I realized after my experience at NR that it's important to get accurate information to other SA's..."
If that is your goal, then no one better take your posts seriously because you are a fountain of MIS-Information.
Disclaimer: This is only my opinion.

Not that I doubt your words Fran but you need to have them update your profile, it shows you being a member less than a year. That's odd too because Jeremy is definitely on top of his game. |

As usual, you are incorrect. I've been a paying member of 123Notary for over two years. I've been a member of the only other leading site, GoMobil, since December, 2005.
As for my posting, I realized after my experience at NR that it's important to get accurate information to other SA's. Therefore, when a notary directory provides good results, like 123Notary, then it's only fair that all of us should say so. It helps the SA weed out the directories that provide no value like the one you mentioned in your post:)I never received any quality work from that particular site...unlike this one.
BTW, there is a large group of experienced SA's doing the exact same thing amongst thier local notary networks. It seem's the time's they are a changin'...and it is long overdo! |

this week from a local real estate attorney that found me on your site. They need a SA to help out assisting in FHA closing's at thier office after hours! WOW! My listing on this site is one of the best investments I've ever made. And, IMHO, this is the most professional directory to date. Jeremy, You always make us shine! Thanks:) |
