Well said Vince. 123 gives you a chance to preview your posting before you actually post it, I guess CJ didn't use that feature.

Also, keep in mind that loan signings in TX are restricted - purchases, HELOCS and, I believe, cash-out refi's must be done in a title company office - not the borrower's home.

There is a list of about three dozen Notaries in the Dallas area in the "find a notary", "by city" section on this website. Some are likely more experiences than others. Look over the profile on each. The listing has the address, e-mail address and telephone number. You might try calling a few of those listed with whatever your proposal might be. But, you should also be aware that most will likely not be interested in teaching a potential competitor how to do business and compete against them in a very limited marketplace. So, you may have to consider how you would answer the competition question first - before you actually make any contacts.

Mike, you might also see over time that most of the successful notaries will pay attention to detail when presenting themselves. Please take another look at your post before asking for help and consider what conclusions these folks might make reach about your potential for paying close attention to detail. Just my opinion.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid.
