If you don't have the new notary handbook you can download it from the link you were given above.
Tips Ah well--that depends on how you percieve yourself.
Do you consider yourself as a professional? If your answer is yes, tips are not acceptable, but small gifts, cookies etc. are OK.

Your notary commission is enough. Many loan signing companies want you to be certified which can help you gain more business but it is not a law.

I'm trying to find out the laws for a NH Notary with loan closings. Is it a law that you have to be certified of is the Notary Commission enough. Also, I have been asked by clients if I'm allowed to accept tips.
