The fee varies according to what type of arrangement they have. I have seen large signing companies charge as little as $100 to clients that they had high volume business with. They made a lot of profits due to the high volume. Other companies might charge up to $175, but often it gets into the $200-$300 range easily. Such a huge range. |

quote: AZSigner Posted - 01/14/2008 : 11:44:57 AM Yeah, I had a feeling it was at least $250. My fee for a loan signing with a Signing Company is $75 which I thought was high since a lot of Signing Co's call and want me to do it for $50 (or LESS, to which I promptly reply: *click*). Maybe I should up my fee to $100 in light of this new info?
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should charge a Signing Co for a loan signing in my local area?
I have never done a signing for less than $90, and that happened twice in my (so far) short career. I normally get either 100, 125, 150 I have two Title Co.s that pay me either 200 or 250 depending. I know you are in Arizona and I know the fee's on the west coast are a little lower so my advise would be never less that 75 and always push for 100 or better if you can get it. My view on Title Co.s is never less than 150.
P.S. I know in California, SA are doing closings for 50 or 55. It wouldn't hurt to ask for 10 or 15 more for the rising gas prices. |

At lease twice what they pay you; probably more. I think it averages about 300 - 395. Some signing agencies will sell themselves cheap just to get the work and that's how come there are some very cheap fees out there. Please don't accept paltry fees. It denigrates our industry. Fight the good fight. KEEP THE FEES UP! VIVA LA FEE |
