Not the phone call from hell, but the phone call to hell.

So, I was in Vegas. I needed to use a phone because my cell phone was low on battery. I asked a shop keeper if I could use his phone. He asked who I was calling and I said, "The Devil." He said that would be okay and that many people called him.

I talked about various spiritual topics to him. We laughed, we cried and he tried to talk me into doing evil things and I politely declined. Then he suggested that at a minimum I could learn to develop an evil laugh.

After the call was over I said, "Funny, I always thought the devil had a Polish accent. In any case, how much do I owe you for the call?"

The shopkeeper said, "Don't worry, It's a local call."

Then I flew to Jerusalem, and used a phone to call God which they call, "Ha Shem" which means, "The One." In any case, I had the same type of conversation. God tried to convince me to do some good deeds and I said I would do a few of them. After that he said, "And one more thing, could you kill the devil for me?" I said that I would work on that too.

After the call I said, "Funny, I never knew God had a Hungarian accent." The shopkeeper said that God has no accent, but if he did, it would definitely be Israeli, and he would have lots of chutzbah. I asked how much I owed for the call.

The shopkeeper once again said, "Don't worry, It's a local call."
