I track statistics. People are panicking all around the nation trying to slow the spread of the disease. They are only delaying the big outbreak. You cannot stop the outbreak until there are vaccinations. Delaying it involves shutting everything down which would turn the USA into the next failed state like Venezuela and commodity prices would be through the roof as our currency becomes worthless due to printing money to pay for the airlines and other broken businesses.

The death toll in New York state was at 42 and seems to double every 36 hours. The death toll in WA State doubles every 3.5 days. And deaths in Southern California double every 8 days. My estimate is that the Southwest of the USA will not get badly hit with overflowing hospitals (assuming the military and FEMA step in) until about August. But, NYC will be in trouble in about 10 days from when I wrote this even with the Navy hospital ship docked in NYC harbor helping out.

I think that America is in a lot of trouble. America's refusal to efficiently test and quarantine individuals like Korea and Taiwan could cause the end of our nation the way we know it. Such a simple precaution that we refuse to take. We would rather shut everything down and risk breaking the economic vertebra of our nation PERMANENTLY. Once you shut America down, you can't just turn it back on again. That could take two decades to get back to where we are now if we shut for long enough because most consumers will be broke and have no source of income just like 1929 to 1933.
