Just know that the inexpensive charges for hosting & creation of your website will increase every year. That said, it's still a good idea to DIY. Personally, I have not found that having your own website does anything for your business. I had one & quit it as yelp, yellow pages and the like were producing most of my General Notary work and Directories like this one were producing the most work from small, local TCs for their out-of-area work.

If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will.

I just signed up with a big company like Go Daddy or Host Gator and made my own Word Press site.

It's really not hard and VERY cheap to have hosting.

Buy your own domain name so YOU own it ... do NOT let a web guy buy it and let you use it otherwise once your site takes off they can force you to pay them fees or they can cut you off.

Good Luck

If you want an affordable website, find one of those services that offers hosting and a template where you fill in the blanks. I am not sure specifically what to recommend. If you create your own website you need DNS address, hosting, programming, design, and the bills will just add up and not stop.

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
