I accepted a job from one of my usual signing companies, but was shocked to learn what Redwood Mortgage requires. You have to call them after you finish the escrow docs. They go over each lender page with the signer on a recorded line and expect you to standby. I will never accept another signing for this mortgage company. It was insulting and took about 2 hours to finish the appointment. They couldn't even properly guide the signer from top to bottom, but skipped all around the page. They asked the signer to sign inconsistently with/without trustee, so who's responsible for the signing? They should send the docs to the customer and sign them on their own time, leaving any docs to be notarized with escrow for the notary appointment. Just thought I would warn everyone...
