Has anyone had any issues with FASS? I have heard many complaints about the lackluster fees they are paying. I did a closing for them in Nov 2014 and still have not been paid. They are a sponsor at the NNA conference again this year and I would love to tell them how they don't pay us what we are worth.

They are incompetent. On my own refi on my personal home they contacted me as the closer for my own file and I kept telling them I can't close my own loan. They could not grasp this so I had to take the pages for the notarizations to the bank and then send back my own package and then they had they nerve to charge me $250 for the notary fee and offered me $75. After some back and forth they wound up refunding the $250 on the HUD back to me. It was PRICELESS! The manager didn't know what to do or think.

They got their "feelings" hurt when I have called and called for the missing payment and one of the idiots there didn't like the collection call and threatened me that she is going to remove me from their database. Big Threat & Big Loss (total sarcasm) I sent them to collections today the collection company has different packages. Phone calls, letters, etc.

I also have a Legal Shield membership and with my membership they will do a collection letter from the law firm too. I decided a long time ago we are the ones doing the final work and we are technically supposed to get paid the moment we notarize a document. We are floating them on our dime and frankly, I am sick of it. If they don't pay our team they get sent to collections.

What do all of you do for collections?
