I just read elsewhere Office Depot is having a Buy One Get One 1/2 off on their paper - might want to check that out. Also, I just checked my Sam's Club down here - I can still get an 8-ream case of legal for $36.47, free shipping. I bought 2 cases some time ago so I'm good to go for a bit.

With a single tray printer, I usually print docs on legal paper, unless otherwise specified.

I went to Costco today to refresh my supply of legal paper. Usually get a ten ream box for about $48. To my horror they no longer stock it! Dang.

OK, second choice, Office Max/Depot. NONE in stock (case-wise) or $13.50 per ream in single reams, may have it sometime in the future and at an exorbitant price. Zounds.

Staples: $57/case for their copy paper. Supposedly 92 brightness, but looks pretty cheap to me. OK, not too bad but have to schlep it home. Also have HammerMill for about $75/case...too much. Rats.

Sam's Club: $56/case if they have it in stock.

WalMart: Office Impressions (house brand?) at $64.75, plus tax.

Costco.com: About $56/case delivered to my door...now that's more like it. Have to be a Costco member, of course, but who isn't?

Quill.com: A bit more, $58/case in lots of 3 (which is what I always buy) and that's delivered to the house, as well. Swallowing hard.

So, paper shortage for the moment, but solutions are available.

Good luck all.
