Hey guys and girls, I would like to get some feedback on this one. I had part of dual signing here in Il with the husband who was here on business. The refi was on his home in CA. The wife was in CA. I received 2 sets of docs with 2 shipping labels via UPS 1 label was for the husband and the address where he was staying here and the 2 label was for the wife at their home address in CA, both had a return address to Home Title of America of NC. Being industrious, I forwarded the 2nd set of docs to the wife in CA under the impression that a notary in CA would take care of that end of the refi and I met the husband here and conducted the signing. I immediately mailed my docs back to Home Title of America. Soon thereafter I received an angry call from LPC of Ky, Inc. stating that I had screwed up and that they had intended for me to forward my set of docs to the wife in CA. so 1 set of docs would have both husband and wife signatures. LPC stated they were not paid by title because the whole refi had to be done over and as a result I would not be paid. I have had dual signing before and do not recall having to send my docs to the 2nd party of a signings. Upon checking my voice maila few days later LPC had called and stated that is what they wanted. I will lick my wounds on this one
