| I have kept my membership and with the changes in the industry, most of the companies I work with require a Background Report from NNA, I get a package with Background, membership, and have my certification with them. I also purchase my E & O with them, all of these fees are a tax write off, and I feel all are justified. NNA and 123Notary are the only companies I pay, and feel both are a good investment. |

Hello All,
I'm just looking for your input. I have been a mobile notary/signing agent for the past 10 years, and even in the recent downturn I have remained fairly busy. I live in a rural area and there aren't many people who do what I do. My question is: What are your thoughts on renewing your membership with the NNA? I just received a membership renewal, even though my current membership doesn't expire for another 6 months. I don't really understand the benefit, as I have only once called for an answer to a question (during my first year as a signing agent) and I can get a background check through several different places. Would love to hear your thoughts, as I'm having a hard time justifying the expense! Thank you!
