Regarding Finishline Signings. I did work for them on 12/13/13, no pay, I tried fax, e-mail, phone. No one answers, except a message machine with some guy who says leave a message and we will get back.Well it looks like another struggling outfit biting the dust. They have always been slow to pay me but now I suspect this one will be a freeby for me. |

I took an assignment from Finish Line, Inc. located at 2351 Sunset Blvd., Suite 170-407, Rocklin, CA 95765.
The assignment was completed on November 20th, 2013.
If you read the notary forum boards, many of you know this company's reputation precedes itself. I read and still took the assignment.
I am not here to lament, just to provide information regarding my experiences with this company. Those who which to chastise me may do so and I will certainly understand and deserve your comments. There is nothing you can write that I haven't already told myself.
During the collection process there have been several emails sent back and forth between me and the company. I gave them until February 3rd to have payment to me. I even offered to send a PayPal invoice so they would not miss the payment received deadline.
They missed the deadline, so here I am telling my colleagues about them and admitting to my stupidity.
Contained here are a couple of responses I have received from the company while trying to collect:
January 30th (Another request for payment sent to them) Finish Line Response: "I put the check on the owner’s chair for signature. When I mail it, I will email you so you can watch for it. B"
January 29th ((In an email sent to them on January 27th, I stated I did not think that I was being taken seriously about what I planned to do if I did not receive payment by the deadline"
Finish Line Response: "I printed out a check for you and literally placed it on the owner’s chair. The moment he signs it I will email you it’s en route.
It’s not about taking you ‘serious’; of course we do, although the level of intensity in your email is high; I mean what if it was simply just lost in the mail? We here always believe in giving folks the benefit of any doubt, but I get you.
Indeed, it’s about pacing. Notaries seem to believe the instant a file closes WE get paid. That is not the case. Title makes every effort to do that yes, but many times we wait months. Reason: the business is not what is was and thus so that we can bring notaries work, it’s about pacing.
I fully understand if you’d like to be taken from our system. Just let me know. BABZ"
Remember, my subject line quote and please make an informed decision before taking any assignment from a company that does not have a very good reputation.
Have a good day.

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
