| Unfortunately, I am experiencing this in Tennessee as well. People don't write at the end of the year as they know the Christmas bills are coming in and then there is tax time and then there is our screwed up government spending that all tie into the mortgage business...Have faith it will pick up...it will. |

Your not going crazy, I'm a 14 year veteran. Business is pretty dead and yes it's been bad before. I can't remember the year but I was hiking more then working. This is the nature of the business it's never been constant. Good Luck in Pa.

| It doesn't look like it's going to improve soon, so maybe you should polish up your resume and start looking for a full-time job. Spend some time reading the notary forums, like Notary Rotary, Notary Cafe and this site, and you'll see many comments about how slow the business is and how small the fees being offered are. |

I think my phone is broke, it hasn't barely rang in months!!!
Ok, things have been sooooooo slow for almost 6 months now. Is this the same for everyone? I went from 30-40-50 closings a month, just a year ago to 5-10 closings a month and that was on a good month. I have been closing loans for 7 years and this is the absolute worst ever!!!!!!!!!
Why is everything soooooooo slow? Rates are still ok, not the best but not credit card high like rates??
Any ideas how to get some type of income, I am about to lose my car, and then I won't be able to do even the 5-10 I am getting.
