They used to be one of my favorite SS's, even though I only got a few a month. They paid decent and reliably on time. Then all of sudden, I didn't get paid for three I did in July. I didn't think anything of it. Just that it was an oversight. I had one more in Aug & one more in Sep. I emailed JJ and he said he would let accounting know. They now owe me $460.00 (one was a print/trip fee). All were closed and checks sent to HVR, per title & escrow. Many of my emails to them went unanswered. Then I finally got one saying they were struggling and would try to pay me by the end of the month. BS... Then I heard they were filing BK.

Just an FYI, in CA, checks are typically cut the day it closes which is the day after it funds in most cases, then checks are sent to the SS. I'm sure the process is similar in other states, so the SS's are getting paid within a week or 2 of us doing the signing.

I started checking on here a few months ago, when I wasn't getting paid and there are others who have started threads about them too.

One of the threads says to file with the San Diego County District Attorney, the SDCDA. Here is the email address. It will automatically send you a form to file out. I don't know if it will do any good, but it can't hurt.

Consumerform@sdcda.org

You do not need to go into detail with this email, as no one reads it. It's just an auto-request for the form.

Good luck!

Last year HVR NOTARIES was listed by 123 Notary as a good signing company. I have closed loans for them in the past and been paid with not problem.

THEY HAVE NOW DECLARED BANKRUPTCY AND OWE ME FOR THREE SIGNINGS WHICH I HAVE BEEN INFORMED I WILL NEVER BE PAID! THEY SUGGESTED I CONTACT THE ESCROW COMPANY AND "IF THEY HAVE NOT PAID HVR" THEN THEY COULD PAY ME DIRECTLY!

I truly wish I had been notified their was a problem with them prior to my receiving this notice.
