Follow-up to the one deed signing for $40. This was highly unusual in my experience for any agency to respond as follows when I asked about how to get paid by them:

"I closed out the signing, but there is no contact information in signingtrac for you, so I will need that to process payment. I cannot edit your information, you will have to go in there and set it up. I would recommend filling out as much information about yourself as you would like (experience, insurance, etc) because there are probably 20 other signing companies out there that have access to this and will generate more business for you.

https://app.signingtrac.com/

the email address associated with your account "

Thanks!

I went into his Trac system but it didn't have my email address so I couldn't get a password. By this time I know this is very unusual that he's putting me through large hoops to get paid for a lousy $40. Though he responded positively to my request to be paid without inputting the info, I have doubts I'll ever receive payment. He expressed shock I wasn't interested in signing up with his database that most all notaries want exposure that way.

Sincerely yours,

Notary's Life

Here's my experience. I went to the lady's office yesterday who had a one deed signing. She had expected an interspousal deed. I suggested she call her contact but she insisted on having her attorney review it. She offered to pay out of pocket for me to come back if need be.

I let Noble know by email and never heard from them at all. Another thing is they wanted me to download documents from some unusual system like Swift. I don't like to spend my time on such a small job having to learn how to download documents that way.

Due to their not contacting me about this issue, I assume I won't be paid for my visit and the lady hasn't gotten back to me at all.

I was so busy I couldn't check on them today for a one deed signing. I'll get back on if they pay timely.

Not a very "noble" company for offering a pathetic $85 for a closing 90 miles away from me. Hmmm...3-4 hours round trip, an hour at the table, $20 in fuel, printing expense, insurance overhead, vehicle maintenance, and general overhead, hmmm...sign me up with this very noble company! I am sooo excited to work for free!
But then they use email blasts which I won't even entertain. When challenged on their fee, the reply was "blame the programmer," "other companies pay only $65, we're being generous," and "we'll be sure to post your reply for everyone to see."
You newbies out there, please, don't underrate yourselves, and DO NOT work for a company that has no verifiable payment history and lowballs to a new extreme.

Sincerely yours,
