I would only if cleared through title and THEN with borrowers that they can view it. I'm getting instructions from companies that if borrowers/signers want copies on anything but paper (e-mail, disc, etc etc) let them know and THEY will provide.

Also, keep in mind, without a second paper set you're stuck if there's a signing error and you need to pull a doc for a clean signature.

Yes! I too have wondered about this as an option in the past, but agree with previous posts that when borrowers inadvertently make an error, which sometimes can happen often, the borrowers set is a good backup! :D

I don't have a duplex feature, so therefore I can't do it. I'm sure I'll get some flack for this, but I do save money by not printing the W-9, 4506-T, endless copies of RTC, Notary Instructions, Lenders Instructions and many of the other ridiculous copies of things in loan packages. I've never had a borrower complain, as usually their chief complaint is that there is too much paperwork anyway!

I don't do it simply becaue if I need to replace a page due to signing error, which does happen occasionally, it creates a problem -I have no clean page to pull.

I've also had instructions from companies specifically telling me not to do this - not sure why but they have.

I haven't been using the duplex feature on my Brother printer and was wondering if anyone else has considered saving on their materials over time by providing double sided copies to the Borrowers. This would be especially helpful for appraisal packages. I asked once about it and the rep wasn't sure if that would be acceptable. I fail to see any problem with this practice. Instructions never delineate "single sided copies to borrowers" or not to print double sided.

Does anyone print duplex and if so have you ever had any protests as such?

Sincerely yours,
