I agree, however..... Mondays are busy for all of us. I will update all of my signings on Sunday evening (if i have time)- just so my Monday morning is a little less hectic. Maybe the same is true for the signing companies/agents?
Also, some signing companies have a 24 hour status update requirement....(i am not saying this is a good idea, and i am not a big fan of it either)
in any case, i wouldn't take a phone call on the weekend and interrupt my quality family time. But emails, i don't mind, as i can get back to the sender when i can.

So when you do a signing on Saturday evening, obviously had it not taken place the borrower would have called to let you know the agent never showed. So WHY ON EARTH would you send an email on a Sunday morning wanting to know the status of the signing? Afterall, there is no FED EX on Sunday so why wouldn't you wait until Monday or expect o hear from the loan signing agent as I planned to do?

People have lost all sense of respect for people's weekends, sending an email on Sunday was out of line, unnecessary and just a little insane.

Sincerely yours,

Notary's Life

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries.
