Their entire proposal sounds like just another scam deal that’s mostly BS. Remember using a SS’s (or “middleman”) costs the Title Company exactly NOTNING. Their fees (and ours) are almost always paid for by the borrower/seller. If they use a SS it’s generally for convenience. So they don’t have to schedule an appointment, follow up, email docs, follow up, speak with the borrower, check with the notary to see if the signing was completed, track the packages, and cut and mail out a couple of hundred checks a month. Those Title companies that do their own scheduling already have a data base of notaries they use, and people to do the job. So WHY would they PAY these guys to a fee to let them do what they are doing now?
I did not sign up FREE or not. I get enough junk mail now and don’t need to be on another sucker list. JMO

Just got an e-mail from these people claiming they're starting a site that eliminates signing companies and offers subscribing Title companies the opportunity to find Notaries directly. Anyone heard of this site?

And I've been curious; does getting listed on every website that comes down the pike (especially those that want to charge the Notary) result in a noticeable increase in calls?

Thanks!
