Having spent my entire career working with computers, from punched cards to tiny handheld devices; I know trouble when it comes in my inbox. Beware of attached ZIP files as attachments. Just got another telling me that my "airline ticket" was attached. The common ploy is to say that the attachment has the "ticket" and you need to open that file to print the "ticket".

DO NOT open ZIP files that arrive from unknown or unexpected sources. They send that way because when the file is ZIP it's harder for your anti virus software to find the virus. Usually in the ZIP file you will find a .EXE or .COM - then it is a virtual certainly you are being offered a chance to install a problem.

If there really was a "ticket" why would they ZIP and make a "print.ticket.exe" file? Total rubbish - worse that it is virus.

Don't even get close to that .exe or .com - DO NOT open the ZIP - just delete the email.
