Ditto!! EVERY company is treating them differently! I even had one company count Sunday! You gotta ask every single time to be sure.

I saw two calendars - Lawyers' Title did not count Monday as a rescission day; Chicago Title's did.

I would not treat this with a blanket approach. I'd check specifically on each file I had a signing for to be sure how THEY want it handled.

Also, beware the holiday shipping schedule. Again, as for Christmas, shipping on Friday for delivery Tuesday, shipping on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday - nothing Saturday, Sunday or Monday....

Excellent point. For those reasons I ask for the RTC dates when the RTC crosses a Saturday or holiday. If the dates are filled in, and sync with the signing date; I let it be.

RTC: Right to Cancel

I am getting mixed answers with different agencies as well as published recission calendars provided by national companies. Are/were the federal holidays of Monday, December 26, 2011 and Monday, January 2,2012 to be counted in the 3-day recission period? Bank and federal agencies are closed. Thanks, I hope all enjoyed their holiday and have a great new year.
