I have an HP 4100TN - it connects via ethernet, but also can go traditional parallel port. I have had it for about 6 years. Both letter and legal trays take a full pack of paper. It's rated at about 20 pages per min; plenty fast enough. It uses the 61X toner which lasts for 6-7 thousand pages. It NEVER jams, NEVER. If you put the smooth end of the paper pack to feed in and fan the paper a bit when loading the trays. It has been totally reliable. They are on Ebay for peanuts as it's an older model but a true workhorse.

TIP: buy from a shop that has a REAL laserjet technician. I paid $100 extra for 2 hours of "fine tuning" of my machine. It probably did not need it as it had under 1000 pages on the "clock". But, I did not want ANY jams and they assured me that if I use genuine HP Toner Ctgs, it would jam less than once per 5000 pages. They were more than right.

HP supports it up to and including Win 7 (which I use) and "probably" also support the Mac and Unix as well.

You probably can get one for under 300 including shipping.

Hello! Having been a Brother user for a long time, I see some great deals on HPS this week. I prefer a dual tray and a very fast printing speed to accomodate the PDF files we receive.. any suggestions? A multi-function would also be terrific, color doesn't matter to me. Thanks!
