I have had that happen a number of times. The last time the other notary actually was there for a different package from a different title co.but appt for same time. THis notary had flip flops and sweat clothes on but I guess a Americans are suckers for fancy sounding Brittish accent. Little did they know that he doesnt know how to dress for business and looked like he combed his hair with a piece of buttered toast.

I have several of these stories, but as far as I can see they are all about the same. I called to confirm with Mr. Borrower and told him I would be 15 minutes late. He said OK that would be fine. I printed the documents and had some trouble with the PDF attachment sent to me. Some of the time the files have corrupted, or something, and one or two of the pages hold up the printing of the file. I had to print this entire package one page at a time because I could not figure out how to fix the problem.

I arrived at the home and they were almost done signing with a notary from further away than me. She had arrived early and had confirmed with Mrs. Borrower and so they thought both notaries were the same person. I talked to her for a minute and then apologized and excused myself to go outside. I called the title company and they said it had been entered into their system twice and that was why it was double-booked. I was actually glad because I only had a half-hour to get to my next appointment.
