$15-$30?? That's a gift!!...LOL....the offer I got was $8 if no contact was made and I had to leave the letter....job was 25 miles from me.

Thanks Lee! It was only $15-$30 for a job that was about 30 miles from me. So, yes, it is not at all profitable, but I thought I would ask for the future.

I have done one or two of these...and, yes, they are legit but it's a little more than knock & leave a letter if nobody answers. There is also a report that you must complete online. Not a biggie, but they pay sooo very little that unless it's your neighbor who is in default (that's what this is about--defaults), it's just not profitable.

I received an email from a company requesting a door knock/ letter delivery & it said they found me on this site. It stated that it is a one-time attempt and if the customer is not home, the letter can be left taped to the door. It did not require any notarization, just deliver a letter. Does this sound legitimate & why would this company need a notary to deliver a letter which could easily be delivered by UPS or Fed Ex?
