Worst-case scenario, have your attorney go after them and the attorney can also get his/her fees paid by them as well.
Hilarious, do you think an under 200$ lawsuit - with the borrower, notary, signing service, title company and escrow company; not to mention the property - often are all in different states - would be taken by any attorney?
But, as of today I did notice you have exactly NINE registered notaries from New York State - mostly in the upstate area. Personally, I am "downstate" in Manhattan. Lemmie think about it.......

<<NAC members can network, post rants & raves, advertise their notary web sites, discuss notary issues, post videos or pics, and much more.>>
What a rip-off you are! The above is literally verbatim from Notary Reviews!
What...you can't think for yourself and come up with something different?
I seriously suggest you re-word your Forum I intro!

NotaryAgentConnect.com is not in the business to demise nor are we on a crusade to destroy signing services. Fact is they are destroying themselves, according to thousands and thousands of complaints about signing service across the Internet and on other Notary sites. I've been in the industry for a number of years, and to say least, it has become very unethical and against the law for signing services to hire Notaries and try and get away with out paying them.
More and more signing services are trying get away with out paying Notaries for their services. Notaries are mandated to ethics and standards by law and why should title companies continue to hire signing services that perform unethical practices against sworn mandated officials (Notaries)
This must stop! Perhaps Notaries need to go after the companies who hired the signing service? After speaking with an attorney about this rising and ongoing situation of Notaries not getting paid, it was explained to me that as long as the notary can prove her affiliation with a perspective-closing file, he/she could pursue a formal complaint against the signing service and the company that contracted them. The Notary can also ask for late fees, interest and even court cost if it comes to that? Sad, but this could be a rude awakening for signing services!! Worst-case scenario, have your attorney go after them and the attorney can also get his/her fees paid by them as well.
This is the question that title companies must ask themselves. What are they getting from the signing service? Are they paying a signing service hundreds of dollars just to make a phone call? Wouldn't it be cheaper to make the call yourself? A Notary Agent knows her job and is the one who does all of work!
As I read in a post: Ignorance of common business terms is not an excuse for signing services to run their business on a notary’s bank account. It does come down to poor financial management on their part. Period, and I could not agree more!
