Who has time to join and research all the web sites out there to find out who is not paying their notaries.

RE: NotaryBeware.com

I usually check a company I haven't worked for, or heard of before, on 2 of 4 reference boards or forums: NotaryRotary, 123notary, Notary Cafe, and NotaryBeware. All charge yearly fees. If the SS I'm researching shows a pattern of negatives, I check BBB. It's work, but less work then doing a signing and not getting paid for it. Different strokes.

Just reading the forums, the bad or good companies stick in my brain, and so thankfully it's very few new callers I end up researching.

Don't get caught working for a "DEADBEAT". But jump at the chance to work for a reputable company.
