LogMeIn has been even more of a blessing when I'm trying to help one of my parents with a computer problem, over the phone - cute, but NOT fun OR easy!

Couldn't agree more. I too use LogMeIn (https://secure.logmein.com/products/free/) for remote access. Been using it for years.

Or, even simpler - do your invoicing at home, before you leave. I do mine while printing.

Like Joan, I use QB H&B - then, like Paul, I print the invoice to a pdf-printer (I happen to use cutepdf). My QB H&B does enable me to e-mail directly, but when I got a new computer w/Windows 7, that feature quit functioning right, forcing me to need to use cutepdf.

I have Quicken Home & Business and I can email an invoice through Outlook.
This Quicken program is not very popular, but, I started using it in 2003 and it can invoice and keep track of mileage and I am use to the program.

Sounds like PAW's program is free and is a better choice.

I use QB Pro 2009 which has internal as well as external email capabilities. I don't use it, but do "print" the invoices to PrimoPDF (http://tinyurl.com/d4d5e5) and then email it to whomever. PrimoPDF has an "email" function built-in (sort of) where you can specify that the PDF file be emailed immediately after it is generated, by launching your email reader/generator, e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express, WinMail, etc., and including the PDF file as an attachment.

Is anyone using online invoicing? I've been using Quickbooks for invoicing and A/R, but it's an old version and it would be nice to be able to create invoices on the fly (e.g., when I'm shipping from a Fedex Office) and be able to email invoices without having to scan them first. This feature has expired in my version of QB. Any recommendations?
