When last in contact with Mr. Logan, he assured me that payment would arrive on Feb 2nd, 2010. The payment did arrive today as promised. Thank you Mr. Logan. I appreciate your response in this matter.

<<<< Gather you evidence, you will need it.>>>>

Need evidence for what? Sounds like a threat to me. Two Notaries complained about your payment record - 61 days and 90 days respectively. Timely payment is 30 days or less. You don't sound like you have your act together, lawlgn...

I just read it. And it is not threatening, it is defending my name from slanderous comments.

Am I missing something here? JPMyra's last post was 1/6/10. Why are you threatening her 23 days after the last post?

In fact, I am done with warnings Myra, you have a complete disregard for the truth and have chosen to slander me and my firm despite my warnings. I always will and have if you notice other postings admitted when we were at fault. Not the case with you. Gather you evidence, you will need it.

Ms. Myra is just a flat liar, and I have the e-mails to prove it, Myra I warned you about this, I have the evidence to prove your lying and will gladly take you to court if I see one more false comment on here about me. From the outset of dealing with you, you have been rude, unproffesional, and irresponsible. It is amazing you have insurance.

Janel is correct, we did have an issue and it has been resolve, not her fault at all completly mine. Janel, please confirm that you received your payment.

The State Bar frowns on lawyers that do not take care of their financial responsibilities. When an active duty military person does not take care of their responsibilities, it is not uncommon to contact that person's commanding officer. I was military and come from a family of military so I know of this. If it were me, I would contact the Georgia State Bar via certified letter and report the non-paying lawyer for financial irresponsibility. Stick to the facts, details and circumstances of non-payment. Include photocopies of the emails and other paperwork to back up your claim.

Unfortunately, I would have to say that I am finding the same situation in regard to receiving payment. We are now broaching the 90 day mark. Several requests for payment via voice, email, office phone number, cell phone, and fax have been made since December 30th, 2009. A W9 was never requested by Eric Logan, but I included one just in case that might be the reason he has not been able to issue the payment.

Considering I have been in business successfully since 2003; I never like to negatively approach a collection situation until all avenues have been exhausted. I would prefer to remain professional despite the fact that 90 days is fast approaching. I am sure Mr. Logan can not do business for free; and neither can I. Therefore, the obvious solution is clear. Payment.

I see that from time to time you visit this board. There is no mis-understanding. I managed to catch you on your cell two weeks ago and got an apology from you in regard to waiting as long as I have for payment. I sincerely appreciate your apology, now I would like you to keep your promise. So now, I would appreciate payment. Please contact me regarding payment. I have sent another invoice/W9 today via fax and email.

He never returns your calls, between faxing , emailing and LM, I made 7 phone calls, 3 emails and 2 faxes. I too have records and notes to show.................be careful group!

Not sure what the real story is here, but when money is owed you can't just put the invoice into never-neverland until someone calls looking for payment. Try doing that with the electric company or your VISA payment. "Oh, well, I was waiting for you to send me a piece of paper that I don't really need unless I pay you more than $600 in one year." Sounds fishy to me. So many times this W-9 thing is used by companies as an excuse - half the time they don't even ask for one. I don't send one unless specifically asked. This is just my opinion - like I said I don't really know what the real story was here. It's a he-said, she-said.

Ms. JPMyra failed to send us her tax form. As it was our first dealing with her we needed this to pay her properly. She became irate that she did not receive her payment and threatened all sorts of slanderous actions. We responded appropriatly. In addtion, she was paid within 2 weeks of us having finally received her W-9.

If anyone has concerns about this, I am happy to provide documentation regarding this.

JPMyra: Is Logan Thompson the contact person? What's the company's name and what city/state are they located in? You have not given enough information.

The only "Logan Thompson" I know of, and can find, is Logan Thompson, LLP, a real estate attorney in Georgia. Is this the one to which you refer?
