Whether or not to incorporate is a personal decision that you must make. I do suggest you consult an attorney and an accountant so you can get the pros and cons of the different types of incorporation, including S-Corp and LLC.

One thing to remember, as a notary public, you are personally liable for your actions. IOW, you cannot be shielded by a corporation status for notary errors, omissions, and any other liabilities. (In some states, a notary that is an employee of a company is still personally liable, but the company may also be held liable in some circumstances.)

I was wondering if it is a good idea to incorporate in this business ..I am just starting out and not sure if it would be to my advantage to do this or not? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
