So, what he should do is promote tourism to get more signings? Or are you suggesting this would work for those performing outside-state closings in large border communities or along interstate highways. For instance, I’ll do one or two a week for Missouri residents that work in Kansas that want to get it done over the lunch hour or for those that are traveling through the State (have met truckers and vacationers at local restaurants from many states). As these are such a small part of the business, it would be hard to make a living doing so. On the other hand, Notaries Public that are successful with general notary work may see this as an additional opportunity. I do wonder how attorneys would feel about the loss of this revenue. But, john’s profile does not say where he was from within Georgia or what his specialty might be. |

Vince some of the notaries in Georgia still do closing that are recording outside of Georgia (you know-investment property). GA attorneys cannot track or control these (though I am sure they would like to) and I am not sure if this is legal or not either but the notaries do do them

Hello to poster from Georgia. You did loan closings for awhile in Georgia, but do not now? Are you an attorney? Doesn't your state require that attorneys conduct the closings? Sorry for all of the questions, the statement made simply didn't sound authentic to me. If it is, please explain with answers to the above questions. |

Business is really slow these days. Getting listed on 123notary.com is a huge plus. Calling convelescent homes is not a bad idea either since they need notaries for their patients who are bedridden. We have a good marketing course in the loan signing course page of 123notary.com too. |
