Hi Peter,
I think that PST is a great idea. I live here, but the clock lives in cyber space. I think our server is in Dallas which is in Central. 40% of my customers are on the west coast, 40% on the east, and 10% in mountain, and 10% in eastern. It is a toss up I guess. Since I live in California, I guess I'm the swing vote.

I'm going to be editing programming with the programmer Friday, so we'll see if he can do something. We have more pressing things to do actually, but I will see if this is quick so we can do it.

On second thought, it is six hours earlier than me. Hmmm. I guess its on Australia time. Melbourne or Audelaide it looks like mate. Or maybe the person who set it up was not thinking which is very possible in the computer industry.

I'll talk to my programmers about that. I think it would be easier to have it set to some form of north american time. The question is what is better, East Coast time, West Coast, or something in the middle since it is an average of our times? I would like what is best for the group as a whole, and not for any individual.

Opinions welcome.

I think the clock is based on either Greenwich standard time or something in the middle of the atlantic ocean. It would not be California time if its showing three hours after your post. If it were California it would show up as three hours earlier. The internet uses a world clock. I am not sure how it works becuase thats one of the things in life that I can ignore without consequences.
