I give EZ Notary a thumbs up too. I've always had a good experience with them.

EZ Notary (based out of Eustis, FL) is one of those signing services that actually is better to work with than some of the title companies. I have done a number of closings for them already. The owner is a former title company employee who understands the business well and is great to work with. Moreover, they pay fast. You should not hesitate to take on any assignment that they offer. |

the problem I have with that is that title companies receive a lot of their fees upfront, maybe this is an avenue we should pursue, or include an invoice in the packet with our part, and then the company could send the rest to the contact that they contacted to contact us |

Hello. Does anyone have any experience with E Z Notary? They called me for a closing yesterday (12-11-2007) but it was canceled. They said they would call me if it is rescheduled, however, they didn't have the borrowers contact number, but a much bigger concern was the line in the confirmation that read "EZ Notary doesn't make partial payments if loan is canceled or not funded." Hmmmmmmm. I don't know about you, but I am not rolling the dice that it is a good pre-sale and that the borrower might excercise his/her right to cancel and then you are screwed and you just worked for free!! I think it is wrong to stipulate that. I am contracted by the signing company--not the lender. I should get paid by the signing service regardless of the outcome of the loan. Why don't I just stipulate that I want double the original agreed upon fee if it signs, and then maybe nothing if it doesn't!! That only seems fair to me. Or maybe I should not accept an assignment from this company. Just a thought. Let me know what you think. Thank You. |
