These issues with SOX have been going on for at least 2 years and I don't understand why loan signers accept an assignment from them if they don't pay?
Do they pay some people and not others?

I was able to file a BBB complaint against SOX. SOX responded (although their response was not correct). A few weeks later I received my check. I tried to file a complaint against another company and it was rejected. No ryhme or reason on what they accept. Makes no sense.

Well, I have attempted the BBB for my area and recieved the same response as Ohionotary. I have even attempted to call the district attorney's office and was not able to find help there either, in fact the lady suggested I just file a suit in small claims court.

What I have found out is that you can file a complaint against the agent who agreed to pay you by going to the department of licensing (of your state). See if that works, and notify the agent that you are going to file such a complaint against him/her.

Try going directly into the Better Buisness Bureau in your local area. There things a live person can do instead of a computer.

I would really like to know how anyone files a complaint with the BBB when a company refuses to pay you. I've tried twice to file complaints but they were rejected. This is what their response was: "The Better Business Bureau is unable to process your complaint since we cannot attempt the collection of money. We handle strictly customer related issues. We would suggest that you file a claim in Small Claims Court."

How do you file a complaint? Am I doing something wrong? I know tons of people have filed complaints against companies like SOX, but what categories do you use to lodge the complaint? Maybe I'm listing the complaint in a wrong category. Could someone explain to me exactly how to file?
