It is my understand that perhaps the foremost necessity for a Notary Public is to be Honest in the name of the State. Acting in and for the State in which they reside they verify the signature and identity of the person signing documents. We record this (in case someone doubts our "HONESTY") in a big log book or on an electronic journal.

Yet to the client, their peers and most importantly of all themselves they lie daily, even in writing. I am ONLY referring to within the scope of Notarization. I see right here and on other sites 1 comment that proves my statement more than a thousand times. it is simply "# of Loans Signed... = 2000+" I checked a few this one in 7 years as a notary. When asked they said yes "6-8 loans a day, you do the math".

I won't bore you with the math but I and the Judge and Jury do and will call BS! If you swear you have upheld your oath HONESTLY as a notary and their lawyer brings up your ad at 123Notary or elsewhere and sees that kind of number... Felons can not notarize that I am aware.

Honesty above all, it is a great sales tool to have a good reputation. It is a safe habit when that is what you were sworn to be... HONEST. Are you being Honest? You can change your profile at anytime before the court reviews the record and takes a screen shot. Are you honest?
