3 plus years later they are still sending out $30 modifications! 11-22 pages was a lie! They wanted 3 copies printed so that is 66 pages not 22! Never again! quote: Originally posted by Tstaral
I used to help them with Modification signings, but no more! These "minimal" $30 signings turn into a nightmare....every....single....time! The last one I did, I carried the docs around for two weeks, making calls to the signer every day and sending text messages. I finally just drove to his house and left my card on his door just so I could get a call back and set a date/time to sign! Then C2C chastised me for driving to the borrower's home without an appointment! HA! TWO WEEKS....for $30.

Recently moved to CA where she has a ton of work here in Orange County. I was told pay day was every Friday 30 days out. Well the first 2 weeks I got my checks. After that, I waited...Sat...Monday...nothing so I started calling. They told me I had to email Bill in accounting. Email him, no reply. Emailed Lisa, got my check. Next week, same thing and every week after that.
Little by little I stopped taking her work. Last fri I waited for my check until 430. Nothing. I emailed her. She got an attitude with me and told me she worked 70 hours that week and didn't need to get emails like mine! Really? Emails like mine? I did the work and I want my money!
She said she was removing me from her company, which was fine with me. I had stopped taking her work anyway.
See the email she sent me below:
I think C2C can not meet your expectations.
Its discouraging to be working 70 hour weeks and then get emails like this.

My bottom is $75 and I've gotten it from C2C for a 17pg. trailing docs signing. Guess it just goes to show that there are a few either desperate or ignorant folks out there that should wise up and do as you do. Just say NO.
If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will. |
