I won't print anything legal unless the entire package is scanned legal. It costs me more to buy Legal sized paper and I won't waste it. Further, if the package has a Mortgage/Deed of Trust, etc. in it that needs to be filed in any county in the State of Illinois (where I notarize) it must be letter sized. Just FYI for newbies, of course a dual tray printer is the fastest, but I print both at home and at my DH's law office and there I don't have a dual tray. It is very easy to use Notary Rotary page sorter-- https://www.notaryrotary.com/mc/pdfsorter.asp? You HAVE to save the PDF, then browse, select the PDF, click, and then click Process. It will divide it into 2 documents, one letter and one legal. Just to be sure put the package back together using your original PDF. WhenEVER you print your window will show you the size of every page.

Lately I've noticed that more edocs are coming in with 'shrink oversize' checked in print preferences, so the package prints on all letter size. Happy to see this trend. (Of course, the never-changing 'instructions' still say 'print all on legal' )
If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will. |

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
