Rosemarie - if you did research and found them to be tied to numerous scams (not the least of which is those loan mod scams) - what's the issue? Call them and turn it back. Tell them you don't wish to be involved in this type of transaction. If this is a scam, I would not hesitate to bow out as I don't want MY name involved in any of it.

Received a call to do a signing for a fee agreement from this company this AM. Fee was fair. I have never worked for them nor heard of them. After looking them up I am confused as the call came from NY. The company is in California according to the web site. The reviews and info that come up label them a scam company claiming to do Loan Mods, and also claiming to be associated with a newer scam running around. If you don't pay now you are going to jail etc. Seems to be a pay day loan scam of sorts. I did accept this and have found this info. I have not done the work or contacted the client as of yet. And info or advice would be helpful. TIA.
