Betty are you running a PC or MAC.

I have an older Brother that I have to use PDF page separator because the brother dual tray can read the page size. Brother hasn't written the driver for the MAC for this older machine.

The brother machine you just bought you will love. I have had mine over 2 years now and I have changed the drum and toner quite a few times, I keep backup of all supplies just in case it hiccups during a printing.

I'm not sure bc I've never had to page sort that large a document package. Maybe:
http://www.pageseparator.com/ ?
I've just ordered a dual tray printer, the Brother reg HL5470dwt Laser Printer. These have been coming down in price and this one was $349.00 at Staples. The toner runs ~$90.00 and prints 8,000 copies. It has a drum that needs replacing at 30,000 pages, but that only runs $139.00, and that means after 100 jobs.

My current two machines toner's print 1,000 sheets and 1,500 sheets, respectively and the single toners run the same price, ~$90.00

Just some FYI, bc my calculations tell me that I will be saving money since one toner will do ~25 jobs for the price of printing 3 jobs.

AND, I won't have to sort the pages.

I just thought that you should know. These printers were a LOT more expensive just two years ago when I started NSA work.

Does anyone know of any good software for page sorting our PDF files? I have always used notary rotary but for me they do not work on large files ie: 237 pages Thanks for any help you can give me.
