Ever get docs and some of the pages show in your viewer as larger than legal? Like 8.75x 11.5 or 8.50x 14.33 or some other odd size?
My printer is always set to 'actual size' and 'auto select' how they recommend.
However, there may be a few that are larger here and there throughout the package I will have to reset my printer in order to print those few pages and return to normal settings to finish. Sometimes, the whole package is on larger than legal, giving an error message about no tray for B-4 paper. Well, I can sometimes set printer to 'fit', and uncheck auto select and it will print on legal BUT sometimes it will not be the correct font, thus, I get chewed out, docs reject, and I am expected to do a free resign.
My tech and printer person says that we cannot remedy this problem- it is on the senders side.
This problem is caused because the machine is was scanned on is DIRTY and needs servicing. There is paper dust under the glass which reads outside the border of what they have scanned, thus showing up as a larger size.
I am so tired of dealing with this having to cherry pick through a package and re set printer every few pages and risk having the font be wrong and then have it be punitive on me later. We get blamed for anything and everything -our fault or not.
As soon as this happens, I am rejecting these appointments, I don't care if it is at last minute or not, esp when I get docs at last minute anyway. I won't be challenged like this anymore, the stress is way too unbearable, esp cringing at all the nasty punitive measures that ensue.
