I have been doing closings for LSI and ServiceLink for over 10 years now. Don't have any trouble getting paid by them. They do have several different billing systems so that can be confusing. Some files they direct deposit my payment and others I have to email them a billing report and then I get a check. E-Mailed in my report and received a check in the mail within a week. |

According to them they have! It doesn't make any difference-LSi/LPs/Servicelink do not pay! I mean they low ball, and if by chance you get them to agree to you fee---GOODLUCK getting paid. Recently they have been requesting me to update my profile, so they can use me. What they mean is, they want to abuse me! It will be interesting if they call me for an assignment? |

Well, it's been quite a few months since my last post on the LSI/Service Link merger. I still haven't had any calls from these folks. I just finished reading some of the posts and needless to say I can't believe that the fees have been lowered! I used to get around $85.00 to do an LSI signing. Now the fees have been reduced to $55.00??? I knew that Service Link were cheap skates and they didn't have the best reputation on the way they treated their notaries. They did try to solicit me last year and I turned them down. I guess Service Link has no consideration for the hard work that we do or our expenses. All I can do is shake my head OY VEY!

LOL and now that Service Link bought out LSI it's even worse now. They told me that I'm not getting closings because my fee's should be $55.00 with edocs/ too many signing agents in my area and tonight I spoke to a borrower with LSI that scheduled a closing with me and she is saying that SHE DOES WANT TO DO AN ON-LINE CLOSING. So, not only is the business dropping , but they are trying to have the borrowers do online closing. That takes us notaries out of the picture completely.

I haven't had any loan signings from LSI for several months. I contacted them and was told it was quite "slow."
Today, I tried to contact LSI Vendor Management and had gotten a message from "Service Link" which really confused me.
Does anyone out there have any info on Service Link and LSI merging? LSI was pretty good to work for, paid a fair wage.
Also, does anyone know what Service Link is paying their notaries these days? Just curious.

The email I got from Service Link said the new fee for edocs was going to be $12, adding that to the $60 they pay to sign equals $72. Where did the $77 come from?? |

Did a couple within the last couple weeks - they told me until it's completely merged, to bill LSI deals as I used to with LSI - the only thing is they didn't send the e-mail requesting the completion report (the one you used to copy and paste?)
So I did my own - borrower name, order number, loan number, did it close? Yes, and tracking number - and sent it to LSI - got the fee verification within 30 minutes

I received a call from Servicelink however (and I had heard that they merged) and when the order came in it was on LSI letterhead. Thankfully it was the fee that LSI usually gives me, which is 10$ more than Servicelink. And then they agreed to pay a faxback fee, that Servicelink never would agree to pay. Not sure how to bill as I was on auto-deposit with LSI. Since there were no order numbers or anything like the Servicelink billing, I'm assuming their payment policy is the same until they can complete the merge.
