Our current certification course is very cut and dry. It gets you certified by us, but is a bit dull. We wanted to create an alternative that would be more interesting. But, what type of theme appeals to the notaries?
Our higher level Ninja course was reported to be interesting, absorbing, and many couldn't put the book down. It had stories, dialogues between ninja masters and disciples, and fascinating text. I'm thinking of doing something similar with our regular certification course. But, what theme would be the best?
(1) The Drama Certification course
Learn the basics of signing agent work, but with many realistic dramatic situations that happen at signings that you need to know your way around. Our favorite drama story is when the notary brings her three year old to the signing at Starbucks, and the kid spills mocha on the Deed of Trust.
(2) The Suspense Certification course
Similar to the drama, but with more build up, and a wait time before you get the ending of certain dramas.
(3) The Zen Certification Course
Certification taught with a Zen theme. A philosophical twist on the basics.
Putting aside what title we pick, we want more stories, and real life situations so that the notaries can relate more, and remain interested. This way they will absorb more and enjoy the process. Your thoughts?
