Something that we've done out here in California is assemble little candy bags and inexpensive treats. You could even make a handmade craft. We've done resin coasters or Pintrest projects. It is a small cost. We will then go to local escrow companies, architecture firms, and law firms with bags in hand. Typically people don't like visits out of the blue, but we do come with small gifts. This enables us to get talking while making new friends. We've been fortunate to earn all sorts of business this way.

An even better step is to find friends within the industry that will refer you to others in their line of work. This way you come in as a trusted service held in high esteem!

So things are slow... really, really, slow.... what do we do...??? Does anyone have any experience and success with sending out promos or "thank-you gifts" for the work that they are getting? And if so what do you give? I am thinking about it, to try to get my name out there, and to show my clients that I appreciate the work I have gotten...
