Wow 90 days? That's 45 days longer than I would have tolerated. I strictly believe it should not take a signing companies more than 30 days to pay. And you're right with this slow down, it's more inexcusable than ever.
Thankfully the majority of the companies I'm working for now are paying quicker than 30 days which is greatly appreciated. I have a few that are slightly over the 30 day mark but those are special cases, mainly because they 1) pay very well and 2) are never late.

Search them all here - you may get your answer.
One thing I can tell you is Accurate National Signings is shut down. Now whether or not they're going to be paying any of the money they owe is another question - but search here for more info on that for this company.
I'd suggest in the future you vet your companies a little more and not jump to accommodate anyone who calls. The companies you named are notorious for doing exactly what you've been caught in - either taking forever to pay or not paying at all..
Good luck.

Over 90 days? I'd be on the horn calling the title companies that were involved with these closings. On day 31 I'm calling on all outstanding invoices. I keep detailed notes on who I spoke to, time I spoke to them, and what transpired. On my invoices I note the title company, title officer, escrow # and telephone #. Day 45, I call a second time and give my warning that I will be contacting the title co, department of insurance and department of corporation for the state in which the signing company has filed if I do not receive payment within 10 days. Day 60 has only happened once to me, and once I notified title, dept of ins, dept of corp and cc'd the signing company of the letter I sent to these entities, I received my check overnight the next day. Anyway, my history on the following companies: Pacific Document Service - paid in less than 30 Title Logic - Several lies later I finally was paid just before the 60 day mark Accurate National - 60 days Loan Processing Center - 45 days Remember, Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. |

I am owed money by Four companies over ninety days Pacific Document Signing Inc Title Logic Accurate National Signings Loan Processing Center
I will not be taking any new orders from these companies until fully paid. I will also be requiring a fifty per cent prepaid deposit from any new signing companies prior to acceptance via Paypal. I can not afford to have unpaid work in this slowdown.
I would advise all of you to publish a list similar to this to show who is not fulfilling their contracts with notaries. |
