I had recieved the same e mail from this company. I had completed their application form, was ready to enroll with them and then decided to review their contract. I discovered that their fees were quite low for the kind of work that we do. I did send them an e mail, got a response saying that the fees were "firm."

What really made me mad was that they said they were working with companies like First American Title. I happen to be affiliated with First American Title, wrote them asking if they had heard of ISS Notaries and was told they never heard of this company.

Needless to say, I was quite upset that this company was spreading "false information" about who they were working with.

I'm not sure if anyone has signed up with ISS Notaries yet. I would most certainly like to hear from notaries who are affiliated with them.

Here is the e-mail I got from ISS on Sept. 25, 2013. Sounds hoaky to me.

I'm looking for notaries in Florida and you were referred to me by SigningAgent.com. I've developed a software at ISSNotary.com that will bring consistent signing leads and dramatically reduce the time and cost necessary to complete signings. I'm looking for ~100 qualified notaries in the area to use the software as more and more companies near you are flooding into the system. There is absolutely no cost to you at this time, nor in the future. We just want the product to be used by qualified individuals so we can rapidly improve it to even better suit your needs.

You can sign up right away by clicking here.

On ISSNotary.com, you create an account, take our entrance exam, and that’s it! Companies will be able to search for notaries based on their needs, and when you are selected, you’ll receive an email to accept the signing. After accepting you will see the necessary documents in your dashboard ready for printing. Complete the signing, mail the signed docs, then upload the tracking number and/or other important documents to the software. Once the company accepts the signing as complete, you’ll be paid via Paypal within 7 days after the closing date.

Create your account now!

I am a real person, so feel free to reply to this email with any questions or feedback you may have. With that said, we’ve made the software extremely straightforward so dive right in and give it a shot!

Talk to you soon!

I have done a bit of follow up since I made my first post regarding ISS Notary.

I have sent an e mail regarding this company to the folks at National Notary Association and First American Signature Services.

As it turns out, neither have ever heard of this company!

At this point, all I can do is shake my head and roll my eyes.

I had recieved an e mail from this group. They are supposedly desiging some new software and are looking for notaries. I checked out their contract and needless to say, their fees are way below the standard, it's almost a real joke!

I wrote them an e mail about this and their response was that the fee schedule is FIRM. They also claim that they are working with some of the larger title companies like First American Title.

I would hate to see a trend to lower the fees that we are currently getting from most signing companies, escrow and title companies.

Anyone else get an e mail from this company?
