Somebody just posted on another forum that they had just gotten an e-mail from this co. wanting to cut their fee to $75. Sounds like they're jacking everyone around. Just say no and find better clients.


If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will.

I just got a message from Mortgage Connect and they are asking me to reduce my prices for doing any work for them. They are apparently in trouble financially, I haven't done any work for them in quite some time, but they want to reduce my Notary fee down to $50.00, which I just raised it another $5.00 after so many years? I live in a rural area and our town is only 2 miles wide, so any place else I have to travel means that I would not be getting paid for going another 12 to 33 miles. That is a pretty significant amount of travel? I will find myself very busy should they call and want something done for out of town, Gas here is too expensive for me to travel some 33 miles to do any closing for a base rate,.
