You have to include 'their' invoice form in the return package, then all goes well.
If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will. |

I am continually having to inquire about payment 90+ days. Once I receive my funds, I will cancel my association with them.

I have worked for them for about the last 2 years....they usually pay within 3 weeks by mail (wish they had a direct deposit)...but their files are normally huge ...over 150 copies is normal...I ask for an additional $20 for any file over 120 copies...our costs for printing have gone up so we have to pass it onto them. However, you have to establish that in advance ...in addition to your minimum fee....I know it seems to be different between states....I charge $90 plus add in for the larger file. I find it best if you can establish who handles the payments so I can email them whenever payment doesn't come on time... |

I have worked for WFG for over a year now having completed 7 signings for them. They have always paid quickly for me. |

I just received payment in full for the signing that did not happen because of WFG Lenders mistake. I was very impressed that they did the right thing.

Loan Depot said that they requested a closing at a title company and not a mobile notary. I have tried to contact WFG but there has been no response. WFG has many regulations about how mobile notaries are making too many mistakes and that our fees will be reduced if not followed to the letter. Shouldn't they pay the full fee plus added expenses for all the trouble they put us through?

Yep - that's WFG's error - Texas law requires some loans, including HELOCs, be closed in an attorney's office or a title company office. Also, for HELOCs, the borrowers MUST be given a copy of the *signed* docs...not just a blank copy like we usually give. I can't put my finger on the specific legislation governing this (it was discussed on NotRot) but it's Texas law.
I'd bill WFG for printing, travel and time. They should have known this. This is their mistake and they should eat the cost of it.
JMO and good luck whatever your decide to do.

Here we are a year later and.......hoped for change in 2014 I have one open invoice for August 2014 for WFG Lender Services from the Plano Westlake Village. I have tried in vain to reach a live voice on the telephone....all extensions lead to the same contact person whether it be Plano or California. Has anyone any information or contacts that work for their accounting department. Work for them at your own risk. Beware.......as you can not reach Michael Crowder or anyone by phone or fax for assistance. |

I worked for this company on 9/30/13, I have called and emailed and Michael Crowder will not return my calls or emails. What do you all think will they or NOT? I think this is going to be quite a job to get paid. I will not work for them again. |

Update - I just got the package that they had undercut my $100 fee by offering $90. It is a total of a whopping 151 pages! I noted the HUD doesn't include any notary fee at all which they hide. This is a highly unusual sized package. They also want Fax backs and didn't tell me on the phone.
**Just called for an additional fee for fax backs, it was "no problem".
Ask and you shall receive. "Thou shalt not rant with obscenities over cuts in your fee!"
Sincerely yours,

These folks used to pay me $125 per signing in a hot market of San Francisco. I've been told today by their notary person they are only offering $90 unless there are extenuating circumstances such as mileage and holidays, etc.
I find this unacceptable and will only accept jobs from them if it's very close by, but I must say this is absolutely unacceptable how all of the sudden they've decided to revoke $35 simply because they think they can get away with it.
Sincerely yours,
